The Sanetsch Pass, also known as Col de Sénin, was originally built to provide access deep into the high valley with the same name, where a reservoir was planned. The plans to extend the road all the way to the Bernese Oberland never came to fruition, so the pass remained unfinished.

Pouta-Fontana is the largest natural aquatic network in the Valais. Rediscover the Rhône plain of yesteryear and its natural riches.
