Sanetsch pas (Col de Senin)
The Sanetsch Pass, also known as Col de Sénin, was originally built to provide access deep into the high valley with the same name, where a reservoir was planned. The plans to extend the road all the way to the Bernese Oberland never came to fruition, so the pass remained unfinished. This is precisely what makes it so attractive to motorcyclists today, as such side roads are still largely ignored by most visitors to the Alps. The positive result: there's hardly any traffic.
