The magnificent Lac de Cleuson is a reservoir of the Grande Dixence and is located at an altitude of 2186 meters in the Canton of Valais. It lies in the heights of the Lourtier region, known to be a crossing point for the Trails de Verbier St. Bernard race. The route reaches a 2nd shimmering mountain lake, the Lac du Grand Désert.
We took the car all the way up to the lake. It was a bit of a bad road. Finest was Lac du Clueson and see it from above. The road to the next lake was not as nice.
