Hiking Trail – Burgruine Kronburg Zams

Hiking Trail – Burgruine Kronburg Zams

The ruin Kronburg is one of the most beautiful places in Tyrol and is a popular hiking destination in the Oberland. Already when you drive on the motorway towards Landeck, you can see it at the narrowest point of the Inn Valley on a striking mountain peak enthroned. On the green saddle below the ruin stand the monastery Kronburg with inn and the pilgrimage church next to it.

Köfels-Waalweg Fundustal-Frischmannhütte

Köfels-Waalweg Fundustal-Frischmannhütte

This hiking trail to the Frischmannhütte is, combined with the high-altitude trail on the Köfler Waalweg, full of scenic highlights. From the mountaintop Schartle, you have fantastic views at the mountain tops Fundusfeiler and Blockkogel, which give the Fundustal valley a worthy frame. The way back should be considered despite the slight counter climb over the Hintere Fundusalm, which is also a wonderful stop.
